WELLINGTON GIRLS - ARTIST: Elle Músa

A short but sweet conversation with Byron Bay based artist, Elle-Louise Burgeuez.
" Elle paints vibrant dreamscapes portraying a sense of holiday-moods, European summers and romantic evenings. Her paintings boast various vessels, fruits, desserts, objects and rugs. All inspired by her travels around the world and her love of ancient art."
Where are you right now?  I am in my house in Myocum, Byron Bay. The weather is beautiful and rainy.. my favourite weather
What are you most looking forward to this summer? Seeing my family, lots of ocean swims, good food and dancing.
How would you describe your creative process? Does it vary between art and music? When creating music I improvise and don't overwork my writing. The same tends to go with my art as well. I like to let my process be very free and calm. I am really in a peaceful and happy place when creating.
Who do you admire? Women who have unashamedly been their authentic selves despite what judgment or fears have come their way. Women who lift other women up. Anyone who can make me laugh and share their deepest self with me.
When do you feel the most inspired to create? After being in nature, reading a book, looking at ancient art and holidaying!
Describe your personal style! A less is more approach, comfortable, natural fabrics and I aim for elegance.
What are your daily rituals, morning and evening? I exercise in some way most mornings and I read before going to sleep.
What are you most looking forward to this summer? Seeing my family, lots of ocean swims, good food and dancing.
